Michigan High School Basketball - Chesaning holds off Alma
December 21, 2021: Chesaning, MI 48616 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Chesaning Indians (Chesaning, MI) and the visiting Alma Panthers (Alma, MI), saw Chesaning's basketball squad hold off Alma by a tally of 42-40.
With the victory, Chesaning improves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Indians host Mt. Morris (Mt. Morris, MI) to confront the Panthers in a Mid-Michigan challenge on Friday, January 7. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 1-4. Mt. Morris lost 65-40 in their recent league challenge against Ovid-Elsie (Elsie, MI)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Bridgeport Bearcats (Bridgeport, MI) in a Tri-Valley - East challenge, on Friday, January 14. Alma will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record.
