Bluffton Pirates (Bluffton, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Van Buren Black Knights (Van Buren, OH), 54-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bluffton upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Pirates host Crestview (Convoy, OH) to play the Knights in a Northwest bout on Thursday, January 6. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 9-1.
