Georgia High School Basketball - Wheeler can't hold off Centennial
December 21, 2021: Roswell, GA 30076 The Centennial Knights basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Wheeler Wildcats to 45 in the Knights non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Knights now sport a 2-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Johns Creek for a AAAAAA Region 7 contest on Tuesday, January 4. Centennial will battle a Gladiators team coming off a 56-21 non-league loss to West Forsyth (Cumming, GA). The Gladiators record now stands at 4-5.
The Wildcats (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Lassiter (Marietta, GA). The Trojans enter the AAAAAA Region 6 contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Lassiter was nudged by Kell (Marietta, GA), 70-35, in a league contest.
