California High School Basketball - Leigh can't hold off Fremont
December 21, 2021: Sunnyvale, CA 94087 The Fremont Firebirds basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the visiting Leigh Longhorns to 41 in the Firebirds non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Firebirds now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Del Mar for a non-league contest on Monday, December 27. Fremont will battle a Dons team coming off a 66-12 non-league win over San Jose (San Jose, CA). The Dons record now stands at 6-2.
With the defeat, Leigh moves to 1-3 on the year. The Longhorns travel to Monte Vista Christian (Watsonville, CA) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 28. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 3-6. Monte Vista Christian lost 46-37 in their recent non-league match against Scotts Valley (Scotts Valley, CA)
