Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Montrose holds off Lakeland
December 21, 2021: Montrose, PA 18801 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Montrose Meteors (Montrose, PA) and the visiting Lakeland Chiefs (Jermyn, PA), saw Montrose's basketball squad hold off Lakeland by a tally of 45-40.
With the victory, Montrose improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Meteors host Susquehanna (Susquehanna, PA) to confront the Sabers in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 27. The Sabers come into the challenge with a record of 2-2.
Next up, the Chiefs confront the Tunkhannock Tigers (Tunkhannock, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 23. Lakeland will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 30-22 non-league win over Delaware Valley (Milford, PA).
