North Carolina High School Basketball - South Johnston thwarts Southern Lee
December 21, 2021: Sanford, NC 27332 The South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC) basketball knocked off the host Southern Lee Cavaliers (Sanford, NC), 39-29 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Trojans (2-4) will now prepare for their test against C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC). The Golden Falcons go into the 3A Conference 21 test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, C.B. Aycock notched a victory over Ayden - Grifton (Ayden, NC), 48-31, in a non-league test.
The Cavaliers now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Pinecrest for a 3A/4A Conference 24 test on Tuesday, January 4.
