Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Academy of the New Church Lions (Bryn Athyn, PA) and the host Howard Wildcats (Wilmington, DE), saw Academy of the New Church's basketball squad wallop Howard by a tally of 78-49.

With the victory, Academy of the New Church improves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Abington (Abington, PA) to confront the Galloping Ghosts in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 27. The Galloping Ghosts come into the challenge with a record of 3-5. Abington won 58-26 in their recent league challenge against Quakertown (Quakertown, PA)

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Odessa Bulldogs (Odessa, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 5. Howard will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record.
