December 21, 2022: Indio, CA 92201 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Indio Rajahs (Indio, CA) and the visiting Bakersfield Christian Eagles (Bakersfield, CA), saw Indio's basketball squad hold off Bakersfield Christian by a count of 40-39.
With the victory, Indio upgrades its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Rajahs host Palo Verde Valley (Blythe, CA) to play the Yellow Jackets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 27. The Yellow Jackets come into the challenge with a record of 1-8. Palo Verde Valley lost 63-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Calipatria (Calipatria, CA)
Next up, the Eagles play the Central Grizzlies (Fresno, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 5. Bakersfield Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 63-16 non-league win over Washington Union (Fresno, CA).
