Oregon High School Basketball - Cascade tops John Paul II
December 21, 2022: Turner, OR 97392 Cascade Cougars (Turner, OR) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting John Paul II Cardinals (Plano, TX), 74-59 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Cascade upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Cougars host Marist (Eugene, OR) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 3-5. Marist won 53-47 in their recent non-league bout against St. Helens (St. Helens, OR)
Next up, the Cardinals play the Martin Warriors (Arlington, TX) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 28. John Paul II will attempt to upgrade on its 8-11 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 15-2 record after their 83-67 league win over South Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX).
