December 21, 2022: Richmond, VA 23229 The Collegiate Cougars (Richmond, VA) basketball nipped the visiting Meadowbrook Monarchs (Richmond, VA), 42-39 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Cougars (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Cape Henry Collegiate (Virginia Beach, VA). The Dolphins go into the non-league test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Cape Henry Collegiate got by Life Christian Academy (Chester, VA), 45-44, in a non-league test.
The Monarchs now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Bullis for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 27. Meadowbrook will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 64-32 non-league win over Saint John Paul the Great Catholic (Dumfries, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-0.
