In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Hopewell Titans (Huntersville, NC) basketball squad edged the host Dobyns-Bennett Indians (Kingsport, TN), by a count of 53-47.

The Titans (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Volunteer (Church Hill, TN). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 10-4 record. In their last challenge, Volunteer nipped Daniel Boone (Gray, TN), 68-64, in a non-league challenge.

Next up, the Indians play the Daniel Boone Trailblazers (Gray, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 22. Dobyns-Bennett will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record.
