Jefferson Bears (Monroe, MI) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Hazel Park Vikings (Hazel Park, MI), 82-69 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Jefferson upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Bears host Dundee (Dundee, MI) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 3-1.
