Virginia High School Basketball - Manchester tops Highland Springs
December 21, 2022: Midlothian, VA 23112 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Manchester Lancers (Midlothian, VA) and the visiting Highland Springs Springers (Highland Springs, VA), saw Manchester's basketball squad knock off Highland Springs by a count of 62-48.
With the victory, Manchester upgrades its record to 9-0 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Huguenot (Richmond, VA) to play the Falcons in a Dominion challenge on Wednesday, January 4. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 4-6. Huguenot lost 58-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Bethel (Hampton, VA)
Next up, the Springers play the Norview Pilots (Norfolk, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 23. Highland Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Pilots come into the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 67-57 non-league loss to Princess Anne (Virginia Beach, VA).
