Connecticut High School Basketball - Hillhouse tops New London
December 21, 2022: New Haven, CT 06511 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Hillhouse Academics (New Haven, CT) and the visiting New London Whalers (New London, CT), saw Hillhouse's basketball squad knock off New London by a tally of 76-60.
With the victory, Hillhouse improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Academics travel to Wilbur Cross (New Haven, CT) to play the Governors in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 23. The Governors come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Wilbur Cross won 70-53 in their recent league challenge against East Haven (East Haven, CT)
Next up, the Whalers play the Ledyard Colonels (Ledyard, CT) in a Eastern Connecticut I challenge, on Friday, December 23. New London will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Colonels come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 67-58 league loss to Windham (Willimantic, CT).
