The Lexington Wildcats basketball team (Lexington, SC), was nudged 50-46 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Jonesboro Cardinals (Jonesboro, GA)

The Cardinals now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Breathitt County for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 22. Jonesboro will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 84-80 non-league win over Morgantown (Morgantown, WV). The Bobcats record now stands at 6-2.

The Wildcats (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Columbus (Miami, FL). The Explorers come into the non-league bout with a 8-2 record. In their last bout, Columbus was edged by Imhotep Charter (Philadelphia, PA), 61-44, in a non-league bout.
