Illinois High School Basketball - York can't hold off Lake Zurich
December 21, 2022: Lake Zurich, IL 60047 The Lake Zurich Bears basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting York Dukes to 55 in the Bears non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Bears now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Forest for a North Suburban contest on Friday, January 6.
The Dukes (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL). The Cougars come into the non-league contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Conant edged Maine West (Des Plaines, IL), 51-36, in a non-league contest.
