Logan County Cougars (Russellville, KY) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Montgomery Central Indians (Cunningham, TN), 68-58 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Logan County upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Cougars travel to Somerset (Somerset, KY) to play the Briar Jumpers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 27. The Briar Jumpers go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Somerset lost 80-67 in their recent non-league bout against McCreary Central (Stearns, KY)

Next up, the Indians play the Crittenden County Rockets (Marion, KY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 22. Montgomery Central will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Rockets go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 67-23 non-league loss to South Warren (Bowling Green, KY).
