Illinois High School Basketball - Madison nudges New Berlin
December 21, 2022: New Berlin, IL 62670 In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Madison Trojans (Madison, IL) basketball squad edged the host New Berlin Pretzels (New Berlin, IL), by a margin of 42-40.
The Trojans (8-4) will now prepare for their outing against Lovejoy (Lovejoy, IL). The Wildcats go into the non-league outing with a 5-3 record. In their last outing, Lovejoy was tipped by Wayne City (Wayne City, IL), 49-46, in a non-league outing.
The Pretzels now own a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lincolnwood for a non-league outing on Monday, December 26. New Berlin will clash with a Lancers squad coming off a 52-24 non-league loss to Southwestern (Piasa, IL). The Lancers record now stands at 6-5.
