Missouri High School Basketball - Newton fells Vashon
December 21, 2022: St. Louis, MO 63106 Newton Rams (Covington, GA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Vashon Wolverines (St. Louis, MO), 60-50 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Newton upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Rams travel to Jonesboro (Jonesboro, AR) to play the Hurricane in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 27. The Hurricane go into the bout with a record of 10-1. Jonesboro won 48-42 in their recent non-league bout against Marion (Marion, AR)
Next up, the Wolverines play the Buchtel Griffins (Akron, OH) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 23. Vashon will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Griffins go into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 71-68 non-league win over Miami Country Day (Miami, FL).
