O'Brien RVT Condors (Ansonia, CT) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Thomaston Bears (Thomaston, CT), 41-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, O'Brien RVT upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Condors travel to Wolcott RVT (Torrington, CT) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 27. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Bears play the Gilbert Yellowjackets (Winsted, CT) in a Berkshire bout, on Friday, December 23. Thomaston will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 68-50 league win over Nonnewaug (Woodbury, CT).
