The Schuylkill Valley Panthers basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Octorara Area Braves to 57 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Panthers now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brandywine Heights Area for a Berks County 3 contest on Friday, December 23. Schuylkill Valley will battle a Bullets team coming off a 63-51 non-league loss to Oley Valley (Oley, PA). The Bullets record now stands at 4-2.

The Braves (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Collegium Charter (Exton, PA). The Cougar enter the non-league contest with a 2-4 record.
