In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Pike Central Chargers basketball team scored a decisive 78-48 triumph over the Springs Valley Blackhawks.

In their next game, the Chargers meet the Gibson Southern Titans (Fort Branch, IN) in a Pocket match, on Thursday, December 29. Pike Central will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record.
