California High School Basketball - San Bernardino tops Sweetwater

December 21, 2022: National City, CA 91950

San Bernardino Cardinals (San Bernardino, CA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Sweetwater Red Devils (National City, CA), 60-41 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, San Bernardino upgrades its record to 6-11 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Point Loma (San Diego, CA) to play the Pointers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 22. The Pointers come into the bout with a record of 4-6. Point Loma lost 63-50 in their recent non-league bout against Coronado (Coronado, CA)

Next up, the Red Devils play the Mount Miguel Matadors (Spring Valley, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 22. Sweetwater will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Matadors come into the bout with a 1-7 record after their 62-56 non-league loss to Monte Vista (Spring Valley, CA).
