In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Washington County Panthers (Plymouth, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Veritas Collegiate Academy Spartans (Chesapeake, VA), by a count of 95-49.

The Panthers (5-0) will now prepare for their outing against Bertie (Windsor, NC). The Falcons go into the non-league outing with a 6-1 record. In their last outing, Bertie smashed Manteo (Manteo, NC), 92-68, in a non-league outing.
