Georgia High School Basketball - Carrollton nips Troup County
December 21, 2022: Carrollton, GA 30117 Carrollton Trojans (Carrollton, GA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Troup County Tigers (LaGrange, GA), 55-51 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Carrollton upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Campbell (Smyrna, GA) to play the Spartans in a bout on Friday, January 13. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 3-4. Campbell won 46-42 in their recent league bout against Pebblebrook (Mableton, GA)
Next up, the Tigers play the Trinity Christian Lions (Sharpsburg, GA) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Troup County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 70-54 non-league loss to Chapel Hill (Douglasville, GA).
