West Virginia High School Basketball - Frankfort nips Allegany
December 21, 2022: Ridgeley, WV 26753 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Frankfort Falcons (Ridgeley, WV) and the visiting Allegany Campers (Cumberland, MD), saw Frankfort's basketball squad hold off Allegany by a tally of 34-29.
With the victory, Frankfort improves its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to James Monroe (Lindside, WV) to play the Mavericks in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 28. The Mavericks come into the challenge with a record of 5-2. James Monroe won 57-17 in their recent non-league challenge against Oak Hill (Oak Hill, WV)
Next up, the Campers play the Goretti Gael (Hagerstown, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 30. Allegany will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Gael come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 46-44 non-league win over Mount de Sales Academy (Catonsville, MD).
