The Derry Trojans basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the host Ligonier Valley Rams to 31 in the Trojans non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Trojans now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Knoch for a WPIAL 4A 1 contest on Thursday, January 5.

The Rams (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Deer Lakes (Russellton, PA). The Lancers come into the WPIAL 3A 3 contest with a 2-6 record.
