The Mountain Ridge Miners basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Preston Knights to 41 in the Miners non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Miners now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Delaware Military Academy for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 27.

With the defeat, Preston moves to 2-4 on the year. The Knights travel to Charleroi (Charleroi, PA) to face the Cougars in a non-league game on Wednesday, December 28. The Cougars enter the game with a record of 2-2. Charleroi won 83-18 in their recent non-league game against Jefferson-Morgan (Jefferson, PA)
