December 21, 2022: Lexington, KY 40517 The Nelson County Cardinals (Bardstown, KY) basketball knocked off the host Tates Creek Commodores (Lexington, KY), 67-55 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Cardinals (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Cooper (Union, KY). The Jaguars go into the non-league test with a 6-2 record. In their last test, Cooper notched a victory over Central Hardin (Cecilia, KY), 71-15, in a non-league test.
The Commodores now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Elizabethtown for a non-league test on Thursday, December 22. Tates Creek will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 54-52 non-league loss to Danville (Danville, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 2-7.
