Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Plum fells West Allegheny
December 21, 2022: Pittsburgh, PA 15239 Plum Mustangs (Pittsburgh, PA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting West Allegheny Indians (Imperial, PA), 36-28 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Plum upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Mustangs host Woodland Hills (Pittsburgh, PA) to play the Wolverines in a WPIAL 5A 1 bout on Monday, January 2. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Woodland Hills lost 66-44 in their recent non-league bout against McKeesport (McKeesport, PA)
Next up, the Indians play the Lincoln Park Performing Arts (Midland, PA) in a WPIAL 5A 4 bout, on Monday, January 2. West Allegheny will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The go into the bout with a 8-0 record after their 54-28 non-league win over Eula (Clyde, TX).
