December 21, 2022: Raton, NM 87740 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM) and the host Raton Tigers (Raton, NM), saw Pojoaque Valley's basketball squad hold off Raton by a count of 35-31.
With the victory, Pojoaque Valley upgrades its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Elks/Elkettes host Robertson (Las Vegas, NM) to play the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 2. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 7-1.
Next up, the Tigers play the Tucumcari Rattlers (Tucumcari, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 29. Raton will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Rattlers come into the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 44-35 non-league loss to Logan (Logan, NM).
