Connecticut High School Ice Hockey - Masuk held off by Branford
December 21, 2022: Branford, CT 06405 In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the Branford Hornets (Branford, CT) ice hockey team nipped the visiting Masuk Panthers (Monroe, CT), by a margin of 7-6.
The Hornets now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Sheehan for a Southern Connecticut - DII challenge on Wednesday, December 28. Branford will play a Titans team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Watertown/Pomperaug (Watertown, CT). The Titans record now stands at 0-2.
The Panthers (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Shepaug/Litchfield/Nonnewaug/Thomaston (Washington, CT). The Spartans come into the Southern Connecticut - DIII challenge with a 1-2 record.
