Nevada High School Basketball - Virginia City succumbs to Pershing County
December 21, 2022: Lovelock, NV 89419 The Pershing County Mustangs topped the visiting Virginia City Muckers basketball team by a final score of 44-26 in Wednesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Mustangs face the Dayton Dust Devils (Dayton, NV) in a non-league game, on Friday, December 30. Pershing County will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Dust Devils enter the game with a 2-0 record after their 51-21 non-league win over South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA).
With the defeat, Virginia City moves to 0-2 on the year. The Muckers travel to Portola (Portola, CA) to face the Tigers in a non-league game on Thursday, January 5. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 1-6.
