Absegami Braves (Galloway, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Bridgeton Bulldogs (Bridgeton, NJ), 61-57 in a league bout.

With the win, Absegami upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Braves host Vineland (Vineland, NJ) to play the Fighting Clan in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Fighting Clan go into the bout with a record of 3-2.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Barnegat Bengals (Barnegat, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 26. Bridgeton will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Bengals go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 62-38 non-league loss to Rumson-Fair Haven (Rumson, NJ).
