The Alma Panthers (Alma, MI) basketball nipped the host Shepherd Bluejays (Shepherd, MI), 55-48 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Panthers (4-3) will now prepare for their test against Chippewa Hills (Remus, MI). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, Chippewa Hills was tipped by Reed City (Reed City, MI), 74-32, in a league test.

The Bluejays now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Mt. Pleasant for a non-league test on Saturday, December 30.
