Minnesota High School Basketball - Anoka can't hold off Fridley
December 21, 2023: Anoka, MN 55303 The Fridley Tigers basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the host Anoka Tornadoes to 63 in the Tigers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Tigers now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rocori for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Fridley will battle a Spartans team coming off a 72-58 non-league loss to Albany (Albany, MN). The Spartans record now stands at 3-3.
The Tornadoes (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against South St. Paul (South St. Paul, MN). The Packers come into the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, South St. Paul was nudged by St. Paul Central (St. Paul, MN), 72-68, in a non-league contest.
