The Archbishop Hoban Knights basketball team (Akron, OH), was nudged 67-64 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Covington Catholic Colonels (Park Hills, KY)

The Colonels now possess a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Archbishop McNicholas for a non-league battle on Friday, December 22. Covington Catholic will battle a Rockets team coming off a 69-47 non-league loss to Elder (Cincinnati, OH). The Rockets record now stands at 3-3.

The Knights (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Newport Central Catholic (Newport, KY). The Thoroughbreds come into the non-league battle with a 3-6 record. In their last battle, Newport Central Catholic was nudged by St. Charles (Columbus, OH), 42-36, in a non-league battle.
