Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays (Ashland, NE) and the host Nebraska City Pioneers (Nebraska City, NE), saw Ashland-Greenwood's basketball squad wallop Nebraska City by a tally of 66-27.

With the victory, Ashland-Greenwood improves its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Bluejays travel to Falls City (Falls City, NE) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 1-4.

Next up, the Pioneers play the McCook Bison (McCook, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 28. Nebraska City will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Bison come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 53-46 non-league win over Holdrege (Holdrege, NE).
