California High School Basketball - Athenian overwhelms The Bay School
December 21, 2023: San Francisco, CA 94129 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Athenian Owls (Danville, CA) and the host The Bay School Breakers (San Francisco, CA), saw Athenian's basketball squad wallop The Bay School by a tally of 68-27.
With the victory, Athenian improves its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Owls travel to Marin Academy (San Rafael, CA) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 3-9.
Next up, the Breakers confront the Making Waves Academy Marlins (Richmond, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 22. The Bay School will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Marlins come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 73-44 non-league win over Valley Christian (Dublin, CA).
