Michigan High School Basketball - Standish-Sterling tops Beaverton
December 21, 2023: Standish, MI 48658 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Standish-Sterling Panthers (Standish, MI) and the visiting Beaverton Beavers (Beaverton, MI), saw Standish-Sterling's basketball squad knock off Beaverton by a count of 59-49.
With the victory, Standish-Sterling upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Pinconning (Pinconning, MI) to play the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 28. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 7-1. Pinconning won 61-28 in their recent non-league challenge against Central (Bay City, MI)
Next up, the Beavers play the Ogemaw Heights Falcons (West Branch, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 3. Beaverton will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record.
