Virginia High School Basketball - Bishop O'Connell tops Centennial
December 21, 2023: Arlington, VA 22213 Bishop O'Connell Knights (Arlington, VA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Centennial Huskies (Corona, CA), 60-44 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Bishop O'Connell upgrades its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Knights host Gonzaga (Washington, DC) to play the Eagles in a DCSAA AA bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 8-0.
Next up, the Huskies play the Basha Bears (Chandler, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 27. Centennial will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Bears come into the bout with a 9-1 record after their 79-47 non-league win over Dobson (Mesa, AZ).
