In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Upper Merion Area Vikings basketball team scored a good 58-45 triumph over the Boyertown Bears.

In their next game, the Vikings face the Phoenixville Phantoms (Phoenixville, PA) in a Pioneer - Frontier match, on Tuesday, January 2. Upper Merion Area will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record.

With the defeat, Boyertown moves to 5-3 on the year. The Bears travel to Whitehall (Whitehall, PA) to face the Zephyrs in a non-league match on Thursday, December 28. The Zephyrs enter the match with a record of 5-2.
