The The Leffell School Lions (Hartsdale, NY) basketball knocked off the host Briarcliff Bears (Briarcliff Manor, NY), 44-35 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Lions (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Greenburgh-North Castle (Dobbs Ferry, NY). The Knights go into the Section 1 Freelance test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Greenburgh-North Castle went down by Westlake (Thornwood, NY), 73-43, in a non-league test.
