With the win, John Paul II upgrades its record to 16-3 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Salpointe Catholic (Tucson, AZ) to clash with the Lancers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 8-3. Salpointe Catholic won 65-27 in their recent league bout against Flowing Wells (Tucson, AZ)
Next up, the Stars clash with the Grapevine Faith Christian Lions (Grapevine, TX) in a TAPPS 5A District 2 bout, on Friday, January 5. Brighter Horizons Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 14-7 record after their 69-62 non-league win over Kingdom Collegiate Academy (DeSoto, TX).
