December 21, 2023: Camden, DE 19934 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Odessa Ducks (Townsend, DE) and the host Caesar Rodney Riders (Camden, DE), saw Odessa's basketball squad hold off Caesar Rodney by a count of 55-53.
With the victory, Odessa upgrades its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Ducks travel to Newark (Newark, DE) to play the Yellowjackets in a Blue Hen Flight - B challenge on Friday, January 5. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Newark lost 87-33 in their recent league challenge against Howard (Wilmington, DE)
Next up, the Riders play the Odessa Bulldogs (Odessa, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 21. Caesar Rodney will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 71-51 non-league loss to Fort Osage (Independence, MO).
