Georgia High School Basketball - Etowah thwarts Campbell
December 21, 2023: Smyrna, GA 30080 The Etowah Eagles (Woodstock, GA) basketball knocked off the host Campbell Spartans (Smyrna, GA), 60-46 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Eagles (7-3) will now prepare for their test against Pope (Marietta, GA). The Greyhounds go into the non-league test with a 10-1 record. In their last test, Pope notched a victory over South Paulding (Douglasville, GA), 53-50, in a non-league test.
The Spartans now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to South Paulding for a non-league test on Friday, December 22. Campbell will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 53-50 non-league loss to Pope (Marietta, GA). The Spartans record now stands at 3-5.
