Tennessee High School Basketball - Friendship Christian overwhelms Cannon County
December 21, 2023: Woodbury, TN 37190 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Friendship Christian Commanders (Lebanon, TN) and the host Cannon County Lions (Woodbury, TN), saw Friendship Christian's basketball squad wallop Cannon County by a count of 93-66.
With the victory, Friendship Christian upgrades its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Commanders travel to Rossville Christian Academy (Rossville, TN) to play the Wolves in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 29. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 11-6. Rossville Christian Academy lost 66-61 in their recent non-league challenge against Hartfield Academy (Flowood, MS)
Next up, the Lions play the Cascade Champions (Wartrace, TN) in a 2A District 9 challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Cannon County will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record.
