Ohio High School Basketball - Central Catholic ripped by Solon
December 21, 2023: Solon, OH 44139 The Solon Comets basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Central Catholic Fighting Irish to 52 in the Comets non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Comets now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Green for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Solon will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 56-34 league win over Perry (Massillon, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-1.
The Fighting Irish (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Rossview (Clarksville, TN). The Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Rossview was routed by Olive Branch (Olive Branch, MS), 82-53, in a non-league contest.
