Michigan High School Basketball - Charlevoix overwhelms Cheboygan
December 21, 2023: Cheboygan, MI 49721 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Charlevoix Rayders (Charlevoix, MI) and the host Cheboygan Chiefs (Cheboygan, MI), saw Charlevoix's basketball squad wallop Cheboygan by a count of 62-37.
With the victory, Charlevoix upgrades its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Rayders travel to Boyne City (Boyne City, MI) to play the Ramblers in a Lake Michigan challenge on Friday, January 5. The Ramblers come into the challenge with a record of 3-3.
Next up, the Chiefs play the Inland Lakes Bulldogs (Indian River, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 26. Cheboygan will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 55-44 non-league win over Rogers City (Rogers City, MI).
