California High School Basketball - South overwhelms Downtown Magnets

Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the South Spartans (Torrance, CA) and the visiting Downtown Magnets Suns (Los Angeles, CA), saw South's basketball squad wallop Downtown Magnets by a tally of 96-50.

With the victory, South improves its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Centennial (Compton, CA) to play the Apaches in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 22. The Apaches come into the challenge with a record of 0-8.

Next up, the Suns play the San Pedro Pirates (San Pedro, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 22. Downtown Magnets will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 69-65 non-league loss to South (Torrance, CA).
